Big Rig Crash Closes Westbound SR-60 On-Ramp at Pigeon Pass

According to CHP logs, the truck reportedly struck a pole and multiple traffic signs at 7:43am on June 11th before leaving the roadway and partially hanging off the embankment. A HazMat response was requested after reports that the truck’s fuel tank ruptured, causing a fuel spill of unknown quantity. The on-ramp remains closed as crews work to recover the truck and clear the scene.
